As point person for Nissan's Workplace Charging Initiative, Cornelius works with municipalities, utilities and large employers to integrate zero emission EV's and charging into their day to day operation. Combining this with over 25 years of auto industry experience and Clean Cites stakeholder experience provides the opportunity for a unique perspective from this dynamic speaker.
As EV Fleet Business Development Manager, Cornelius is responsible for expanding the market for electric vehicles and their public adoption. He has more than 25 years of experience in the auto industry, in both corporate management and as a dealership owner. Cornelius has won many corporate awards for customer satisfaction and dealership operations and, for more than a decade, was recognized by Black Enterprise Magazine, as one of "Americas' 100 Largest African-American Auto Dealers." He was the owner, President, and General Manager of Town Square Ford-Lincoln-Mercury, in suburban Charlotte, N.C. During his tenure he was a Five-Time recipient of Ford's Blue Oval, Mercury's Advantage, and Lincoln's Premier Awards for Customer Satisfaction & Dealership Image. Cornelius is an alumnus of Eastern Michigan University.
