Danny Parker is the Principal Research Scientist at the Florida Solar Energy Center (FSEC). Danny has over 30 years of experience (21 years at FSEC) in the field of systems energy-efficiency research. He specializes in analyzing measured data taken from residential buildings to determine how efficiency and renewable sources can dramatically lower energy needs. Danny is a member of the U.S. Department of Energy's Building America program, where he conducts research to enable Zero Energy Homes (ZEH). He lives in a ZEH and drives a Chevrolet Volt plug-in hybrid, which is primarily charged using excess electrical energy from his residential PV system.
