AutoPort, Inc. is a privately owned ISO 9001 Certified Company, which was established in 1981 at the Port of Wilmington, Delaware. In January 2016, AutoPort started operation at their new 16-acre site at Port Canaveral to begin providing vehicle processing and modifying operations like their Delaware operation.
With over 30+ years of operation, AutoPort has handled, processed and modified well over 3,000,000 vehicles destined to market for U.S. based Automotive Manufacturers including Chrysler, Ford, General Motors, American Honda, Suzuki, Mitsubishi and Toyota. That process has begun recently at Port Canaveral with the first ship unloading vehicles in July.
AutoPort is actively involved in the design, development and repowering of existing internal combustion vehicles to all electric drive trains. The Company has worked closely with the University of Delaware on the Vehicle to Grid (V2G) project known as "Grid on Wheels. In addition, AutoPort is one of the leading Natural Gas and Propane Vehicle Conversion and Solutions Companies. One of primary focuses in Florida is on the conversion of vehicles to Alternate fuels.
